Industry Entry & Registration
The Date of First Appointment (DOFA) marks your professional entry into the sector, triggering the commencement of all regulatory requirements and tracking cycles.

Product Specific Training
Verification and documentation of product-specific training are required before you may legally provide advice or render services to clients.
Yr 1
Class of Business Training
You must complete specific Class of Business (COB) training within 12 months of DOFA to ensure core competence in your license category.
Yr 2
RE Regulatory Examinations
Pass the RE5 (Representatives) or RE1 (Key Individuals) examinations within 24 months of your DOFA to maintain your fit and proper status.
Yr 6
FSCA Recognized Qualification
Achievement of a full qualification recognized by the FSCA is mandatory within 72 months (6 years) from your DOFA date.

Ongoing CPD Maintenance
Maintain competence through continuous professional development (CPD). Annual hour requirements apply once the initial qualification is confirmed.
